David Walliams puts marriage troubles behind him to enjoy night out at Mel Brooks Live
EVER since reports emerged earlier this month that he had split from wife Lara Stone, David Walliams has been throwing himself into work commitments.
David Walliams joined a number of famous friends for a night out in London last night
After fronting the BBC's Red Nose Day events, the comedian was seen enjoying a rare night out with pals in London last night.
The Little Britain let his hair down alongside the likes of Rob Brydon, Catherine Tate and Jason Manford for the opening night of Mel Brooks live.
Posing inside the capital's Prince of Wales Theatre, the 43-year-old looked smart in a dark grey suit and matching tie.
The father-of-one tweeted afterwards: "Tonight I saw the great @MelBrooks one-man show in London. A comedy masterclass and his humanity shone through. What a life. What a man."

Just two days earlier, David had told his 1.45 million followers: "My life is now complete. Tonight I met the God of Comedy, @MelBrooks," proving he is quite the fan of the US star.
He later added: "Thank you to the @BFI for an unforgettable night honouring @MelBrooks."
The 88-year-old, who joined David in a number of snaps, posted a photo online of an empty theatre prior to taking to the stage. He captioned it simply: "The evening draws nigh…"
Comedy star Catherine, 46, kept her look casual for the evening in a pale brown jumper and dark jeans.

David's outing comes just weeks after The Sun stated that he and his 31-year-old spouse had agreed a trial separation.
The publication reported that Lara left the family home – which the couple share with their one-year-old son Alfred – leaving David "devastated".
A source close to the BGT judge said: "David has been putting on a brave face. But people close to him are very worried because they know he's devastated."
