Jon Snow admits he DOESN'T think about sex every time he meets a new woman
JON Snow has denied reports which suggested he thinks of sex every time he meets a woman for the first time.
Jon Snow has rubbished claims he thinks about sex everytime he meets a new woman
The veteran Channel 4 host, who is now married to a woman 27 years his junior, rubbished the claims during an interview in this week's Radio Times magazine.
He said: “That was misreported by the Daily Mail and I’d certainly like to nail it on them.
“What I said was that every time a man meets a woman he hasn’t met before, the thought goes through his mind: ‘Do I fancy her?’ That is a fact. Is she attractive? Is she someone I would like to spend time with? Then that thought is parked and gone."
He continued: "None of my female colleagues ever mentioned it. They just thought it was typical Jon. My wife? She would be oblivious to it. I do not think about sex every time I meet a new woman.
"That’s absolute c**p. But heavens… What is the species? You’re a woman, I’m a man.”
The veteran broadcaster will be taking part in a drug trial for an upcoming Channel 4 documentary
Meanwhile, the 72-year-old broadcaster recently revealed that smoking high-strength cannabis left him feeling more frightened than ever before, despite having reported from numerous war zones.
The news host has taken part in an experiment for Channel 4 this week, to reveal the effect 'skunk and hash' has on the brain.
Talking about his experience on his Channel 4 website blog he said: "I felt awful in there… absolutely terrible. If I can stick it out in Gaza I should be able to stick it out in a scanner.
"I have smoked cannabis but this was aggressive filth. This has robbed me of my persona, of my soul. I never want to be subjected to that again."
He added: "I felt utterly bereft… I felt I had lost all control and had only the vaguest awareness of who I was and what on earth I was doing. I cascaded into a very, very, dark place, the darkest mental place I have ever been.
"I was frightened, paranoid, and felt physically and mentally wrapped in a dense blanket of fog."
