'My beautiful boy' Carol Vorderman gets sentimental as her son Cameron turns 18
NO ONE can blame Carol Vorderman for feeling a little sentimental today as her youngest child turned 18.
Carol Vorderman posted a number of nostalgic snaps on Twitter today after her son Cameron turned 18
The 54-year-old took to Twitter to wish son Cameron a happy birthday before posting a series of childhood snaps.
The TV presenter, who is also mother to daughter Katie, 22, had previously told her 324,000 followers about her child's milestone celebration.
She tweeted: "My beautiful boy Cameron will be 18 this week… #yearsflyby #nowsixfootfive #lovehimtothemoonandback."
Carol also said she had been "looking back at old pics", before informing fans: "He's a lot taller now!"
The star said the family were having cake for breakfast to celebrate

Among the nostalgic photos was one of Cameron behind the camera in the Countdown studios as well as one of the pair at Glastonbury.
She added: "Guess what we're having for breakfast? #Cameronis18 #HappyBirthday," to accompany a shot of his personalised cake.
Carol separated from Cameron's father, management consultant Patrick King, in 2000 after 10 years of marriage.
The star's posts came just days after she showed off her impressive "thigh-gap" after taking part in a health kick recently.

Carol had told followers about the celebration earlier in the week
"My sister says I have "thigh gap"… I thought that meant bandy!?! #WeirdWords," she wrote.
Last week, the star stayed at Juicy Oasis – a boutique health retreat and spa in Portugal.
Meanwhile Carol recently debuted her newly-blonde tresses on the social networking site, but admitted her mother had told her she preferred her hair darker.
