POP Star Ellie Goulding has pledged to spend Christmas Eve serving festive roasts in a homeless shelter.

Earlier this week the pretty Burn singer performed at a benefit gig with Tom Odell and Bastille in aid of raising funds for the Streets of London homeless charity.
During the concert, which was held at Shepherds Bush O2, the 27-year-old shared with the packed venue her plans to volunteer on Christmas Eve.
Following the live show, which raised thousands for the goodwill cause, Ellie revealed she is looking forward to being a companion to those who feel alone during the festive season.
She told 3am: "I’ve done it for a few years. It’s fun and part of the reason I run my gigs.

"It’s not just people who are homeless in the shelters but also those who are lonely and don’t have someone to spend time with."
Ellie continued: "I was chatting to a guy last year who was a musician from Africa who had found himself homeless. The thought of someone not having at Christmas…
"It's so scary because it happens so quickly to anyone. It could be any of us."
She added: "I was pretty much by myself in London. I had a room but not a family home – I had to go back if anything went wrong. My situation was a luxury."

The star revealed she plans to spend Christmas Day with boyfriend Dougie Poynter from McBusted and her family.
"I’m scarily hosting this year," she said.
"I’m veggie and Dougie is veggie, so I’m in charge of desserts.
"A while ago I got a new house so I’m finally going to move into it and host it there."
