Dying Lynda Bellingham films emotional farewell with Loose Women panel
LYNDA Bellingham has reunited with her Loose Women co-stars to film a heart-rending final episode.
The actress, 66, who has terminal bowel cancer, was interviewed by her fellow panellists Coleen Nolan and Janet Street-Porter as she bid an emotional farewell in scenes to be screened on ITV this month.
After filming, she posed for a photo with her other Loose Women friends Lisa Maxwell, Denise Welch, Jane McDonald, Kate Thornton and Carol McGriffin.
Sharing the group picture on her Twitter accopunt, Denise captioned the sentimental moment: "Best day. Best friends."
Meanwhile, Carol McGriffin wrote: "If you do one thing today, buy my friend @lyndabellingham's book. Seen here with good friends....#anothergreatpic."
Kate Thornton added: "A room full of love".
An insider on the show told the Sunday Mirror: "Coleen and Janet were really upset when they realised this was probably the last time they would see Lynda.
"It hit them really hard as they had to interview her knowing her fate".
The source added: "It was clearly very emotional for Lynda, as it was for the other panellists.
"There wasn't a dry eye in the house and behind the scenes they we're all hugging each other."
Lynda, who shot to fame in 1983 in the Oxo TV adverts, filmed the episode earlier this week after promoting her book There's Something I've Been Dying To Tell You in which she opens up about her cancer battle.
The mother-of-two's final Loose Women show will see her talk about her decision to stop having chemotherapy.
She says she wants to spend one last Christmas with her husband Michael Pattemore, 59, and sons Michael, 31, and 26-year-old Robbie.
