Victoria Beckham wades through her Mayfair shop building site in sky high stilettos
THE WORLD'S eyes rest upon the shoulders of Victoria Beckham as she prepares to open her own shop in London's Mayfair later this year.
And the mother-of-four visited the worksite this afternoon in a decidedly smart outfit - including sky-high heels.
The store is being designed by architect Farshid Moussavi, whose credits include the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland.
It's said the shop will house Victoria's main collection as well as her sister range Victoria Victoria Beckham, and accessories and denim.
Speaking to Women's Wear Daily earlier this year, Victoria revealed that customers visiting the store would get an insight into the brand and the design process.
"I think the time is now because I know my customer," she said. "It will be the first time that the people will really be able to see the brand through my eyes."
The former Spice Girl, who turned 40 earlier this year, already has an e-boutique and sells her clothes in luxury stores all over the world.
Victoria strode confidently out of the building site shop this afternoon in a smart, cropped pair of flared trousers and a knitted sleeveless jacket.
Shielding her eyes from the sun the singer-turned-designer jumped into a waiting car in her towering heels.

He hugged a friend through the window before tazzing off into the afternoon with her PA and others.
The store is on track to open in September, and Victoria is keeping fans updated with the progress on Twitter.
Earlier this week she tweeted: "Lunch with me at 36 Dover St, London?? A long way to go! x vb"
