Eddie Redmayne puts on emotional performance in Steven Hawking biopic Theory of Everything
HE'S ONE OF the most celebrated scientists of our time and Steven Hawking's life has been turned into a Hollywood movie.
The trailer for Theory of Everything has been released - the movie concentrates on Steven's relationship with his fist wife Jane Wilde.
Eddie Redmayne stars as the English theoretical physicist and cosmologist while Felicity Jones plays Jane.
The movie opens with Steven in bed at Cambridge University, and one of his friends saying to him: "Steven are you aware that you voluntarily embarked on a PHD in physics?"
The film, directed by James Marsh, focuses on the chapter in Stephen's life when he fell in love with his first wife Jane Wilde.

The pair were in a relationship shortly before the intelligent scientist was diagnosed with motor neurone disease, aged just 21.
In real life the couple were married in 1965 until 1995, when they divorced and Steven went on to marry Elaine Mason the same year.
Steven and Elaine went on to divorce 11 years later; the scientist has three children.
The the trailer release has gone wild on Twitter with fans of Steven's posting about the biopic.
One user said: "The Theory of Everything trailer was [as trailers often are] rather brilliant. There seems to be a bit of dust in my eye... #softlad"
While another added: "If a trailer can almost reduce me to tears i can't wait to see the film"
With a cast made up of almost entirely British actors, including Emily Watson, David Thewlis and Charlie Cox, Theory Of Everything is scheduled for a 2014 release.
