It's Daniel-mania! Dan Radcliffe is swamped by fans as he leaves Broadway show
HE SHOT to fame as a child star but Daniel Radcliffe's popularity shows no signs of waning.
The 24-year-old Harry Potter star is was greeted by a throng of excited fans as he left his latest performance of comedy play The Cripple of Inishmaan.
Daniel is currently starring in the role on Broadway, in New York, and the Brit abroad looks like he's thoroughly enjoying his time across the pond.
As he left the stage door hundreds of fans swarmed around the star in the hope they might snap a picture with the pint-sized actor.
And, true to form, the kind hearted movie star spent as much time as he could posing for pictures with his adoring crowd.
Taking pictures with fans' smart phones and signing as many autographs as possible, Daniel looked perfectly happy in his own world.
Although he looked tired, the star couldn't stop smiling as the crowd cheered him on.
Wearing turned up jeans with black pumps Daniel was sporting a Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas t-shirt.
Earlier this month, J.K Rowling revealed there was a new follow-up story to the Harry Potter series, but fans will be disappointed to hear Dan has denied he will star in a movie re-make.
Speaking at the Television Critics Association on Tuesday the 24-year-old said he wouldn't star in a movie re-make of the new novel.
When asked about a potential movie for the book, he said: "My inclination is to say no.
"I don’t think it’s a question that’s even – not even hypothetical."
The movie star, who is currently promoting his new role in What If, added: "As I understand, it’s a very short piece, not of itself worthy of adaptation to film.
"[The character is] at least 12 years older than I am now. I don’t think I’ll have to worry about that for a long time."
