Warwick Davis and Jonathan Ross compare wizard skills at magical Harry Potter event
IT WAS broomsticks at the ready on Monday evening as a host of stars visited Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Several famous faces were spotted at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter for their Summer Screenings preview evening.
Jonathan Ross and his daughter Honey were spotted drinking Butterbeer on their way to see the Knight Bus – and confessed that they are fans of dastardly Slytherin house.
The stars were treated to some traditional Hogwarts fayre before settling down to watch the first instalment in the film adaptation of JK Rowling's hit book series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
Singer Jamelia, who wore a blue dress from TOWIE star Lauren Pope's InTheStyle range, admitted that she also favoured sneaky Slytherin when she chose her green house scarf.
She revealed her family had enjoyed a Harry Potter film marathon in preparation for the Summer Screenings season at the studios, planned for every Monday and Tuesday between 7th July until 26th August.
Mandela star Idris Elba also made an appearance at the star-studded event, telling the group if he could play a Harry Potter character he’d definitely be giant groundskeeper Hagrid.
Meanwhile, former Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq enjoyed a rare night off parental duties after the birth of her second child, a boy, in March this year.
The Inbetweeners star James Buckley tried taking a seat in Professor Dumbledore's seat in the Great Hall – and looked remarkably at home!
Guests were also treated to a charm lesson by Warwick Davies, who played both Professor Flitwick and Griphook the goblin in the franchise.
Reliving the scene from The Philosopher's Stone, he instructed everyone on the proper pronunciation of the levitation spell – Wingardium Leviosa – and ensured guests practiced their "swish and flick" properly.
He was later spotted outside Ollivander's Wand Shop duelling with Jonathan Ross.
