'Cover up in style': Rihanna tries out sexy but modest look in Harper's Bazaar Arabia
RIHANNA'S known for her love of fashion and fearless approach to her celebrity status, and it would appear her latest shoot for Harper's Bazaar Arabia has ruffled some feathers.
The 26-year-old Rude Boy singer has posed for a series of arty shots for the Middle-Eastern fashion magazine.
She's more often seen flashing the flesh, but the Bajan singer posed for a series of covered-up photographs, and still managed to sizzle with sex appeal.
The tag-line for the shoot is, "Rihanna of Arabia: The new modesty, cover up in style."
The S&M singer is seen covering up a series of modern-day takes on traditional Arabian clothing, including veils and turbans.
In one shot Rihanna is seen lying on the ground posing with one hand on her head, almost unrecognisable in a full-length sequinned body suit, hood and face mask.
In another, the stunning star wows in a floor-length green gown with a red turban holding in her raven locks and a red manicure adding a little pizzazz to the outfit.
These looks are a far cry from her most recent red carpet outfit; the Man Down singer arrived at a red carpet event for the Fashion Designers of America Awards earlier this month in a shocking sheer body suit.
The Adam Selman frock, which sported more than 230,000 Swarovski crystals, covered very little of the singer's modesty and set tongues wagging across the world.
Rihanna took to her Twitter account yesterday to tweet her fans the shots from the magazine.
She said: "#HarpersBazaar #ARABIA #Cover @BazaarArabia shot by my new fave photographer, Ruven"
