Stylish Sandra Bullock is beautiful in blue as she graces the stage at Jane Fonda tribute
SHE'S won a number of awards for her acting skills over the years, but Sandra Bullock looked fit for a style trophy last night after she wowed at the AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony in blue.
The actress, who spoke at the ceremony - which paid tribute to veteran star Jane Fonda - looked stunning as she graced the stage in a stylish royal blue ensemble, that is sure to get her point with fashion experts the world over.
Showing off her figure a treat, the 49-year-old star's frock featured both a thigh high split and a cut out panel on the stomach area, giving it an air of sex appeal while still proving classy and chic.
She wore her long dark locks sleek and straight while opting for a dramatic smokey eye as she joined the attendees honouring Miss Fonda at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
And finishing off her look, she added a pair of shimmering peep toe heels.
However, as glorious as the mother-of-one looked - nothing could take the attention away from the woman of the moment, 76-year-old Jane.
The timeless star looked radiant as she graced the event, proving that she can still give women half her age a run for their money.
The mother-of-three showed off her slender frame in a black and white gown which consisted of a fishtail skirt and sheer sleeves.
She teamed the figure-hugging dress with a black clutch bag, a showstopping diamond necklace and matching earrings as she posed up a storm for photographers.
Jane was being honoured with the accolade 36 years after her father, Henry Fonda, became the sixth recipient of the award.
The actress told The Hollywood Reporter that when she found out about the award, "I burst into tears. It's the biggest honour".
Jane presented the award to Bette Davis in the 1970s and also to Barbara Stanwyck.
"I never thought it would happen to me. You know, I left the business for 15 years and crawled my way back in, starting at age 65," she added.
"So I just feel very blessed this is happening,' she said of being the 42nd recipient of the award."
