Claudia Winkleman says she's 'not stepping into Bruce Forsyth's shoes'
SHE was recently announced as the new co-host of Strictly Come Dancing, but Claudia Winkleman fans need not fret about her giving up other presenting jobs.
But the TV favourite, who was at the swanky event to present an award, said that she was "not stepping into Bruce Forsyth's shoes".
"Bruce will be back for the Christmas special and Children In Need and I'm sure we'll be calling on him regularly." she added.
Claudia, 42, has pledged to continue her other TV commitments despite landing the job of Strictly Come Dancing co-host.
The Film 2014 and Great British Sewing Bee presenter, 42, has signed up as the new regular host on the BBC1 ballroom dancing show alongside Tess Daly, following the departure of TV veteran Sir Bruce Forsyth.
Winkleman insisted that she is nervous about her new role, despite having presented the weekly results show and stepped in for Sir Bruce during his occasional absences.
Speaking at the Glamour Women Of The Year awards, she said: "I'm terrified because you never know, anything could happen."
And the presenter said that despite her heavy workload, she would continue to present the BBC's flagship movie review show, Film 2014.
"I'll make it work," she said.
