David Beckham enjoys ice hockey with sons while Victoria stays home with Harper
IT’S a weekend scene familiar in millions of households... Dad is off to the match with the boys and Mum stays home to bake.
So while David Beckham took his three sons to watch the ice hockey, Victoria made cupcakes with daughter Harper to mark America’s Memorial Day.
The ex-England football captain sat enthralled with Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 11, and Cruz, nine, as they cheered the Los Angeles Kings.
Looking effortlessly stylish in Kings jerseys, the boys saw them beat Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 in a nail-biting game.
And judging by the twinkle in their eyes, it seems they have also inherited Dad’s eye for the ladies – breaking out in great grins when a scantily clad blonde cheerleader skated past.
Good morning, Los Angeles. Happy Memorial Day weekend.
Then bearded David, 39, punched the air in delight as the Kings snatched a late winner.
The Beckhams were back in California as America remembered those who died serving in their armed forces.
And former Posh Spice turned fashion designer Victoria, 40, spent some quality time with her three-year-old daughter before taking to Twitter to post a picture of their delicious-looking chocolate cupcakes, patriotically decorated in red, white and blue.
She told her 7.5 million followers: “Good morning, Los Angeles. Happy Memorial Day weekend. So good to be back.”
It all goes to show – for the Beckhams, at least – domestic bliss is just a piece of cake.
