Sir Mick's daughter Jade and his grandchildren Mazie and Zak also read psalms at the service, according to a spokesperson for the singer.
Former Eurythmics member Dave Stewart and The Rolling Stones backing vocalist Bernard Fowler performed the hymn 'Will the Circle Be Unbroken?'
Blessings and prayers at Ms Scott's funeral were led by Reverend Ed Bacon of the All Saints Church in Pasadena.
World famous fashion designer Ms Scott committed suicide on March 17 in New York.
She was discovered hanging in her apartment by her assistant and no note was found at the scene.
Sir Mick was in Australia with his bandmates preparing for a six date stadium tour when he was informed of the death of his girlfriend of 13 years.
The 70-year-old released a statement a few days later which said he was struggling to understand the death of his "love and best friend".
He revealed he found it hard to comprehend how Ms Scott could end her life in such a "tragic way".
Sir Mick added he would "never forget" the former model.
He said: "I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way.
"We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves. She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me.
"I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received. I will never forget her."
Ms Scott is a celebrated stylist and fashion designer whose dresses have been worn by Nicole Kidman, Michelle Obama Carla Bruni and Naomi Campbell among others.
