Bohemian Chic! Helena Bonham Carter freshens up gothic look with a girly floral headband
HELENA Bonham Carter stepped away from her usual gothic look and opted for a rather girly ensemble last night as she headed to a store opening on London's New Bond Street.
The actress, who is famed for her quirky fashion choices, looked every inch the stylish fashionista as she made her way into the flagship store launch of high-end brand, High, sporting a figure-hugging black dress.
But ensuring she didn't go unnoticed, the Fight Club star accessorised her simple frock with an oversized floral headband.
Accompanied by her sister-in-law Virge Bonham Carter, who opted for a matching headband, the British star looked as though she was having a lovely time as she sipped on champagne while indulging in some retail therapy.
Helena kept her make-up minimal and happily posed for snaps inside and outside the event, appearing in great spirits as she cuddled up to Virge, who kept things casual in a pair of Converse trainers and a leather jacket.
The 47-year-old said of the store's launch: "I love their designs - I always feel wonderful in their clothes."
Daisy Lowe also showed her support at the event, and also opted for a black ensemble.
The model looked the epitome of chic in a pair of high-waisted trousers and a tailored blazer.
Helena Bonham Carter is set to appear in upcoming film 'Sufragett', which tells the story of the foot soldiers of the early feminist movement.
Directed by Sarah Gavron, the story follows the women who were forced underground to pursue a dangerous game of cat and mouse with an increasingly brutal State.
The script for the upcoming drama was written by Abi Morgan, who also wrote The Iron Lady - the Margaret Thatcher biopic for which Steep won an Oscar two years ago.
She will star alongside Carey Mulligan and Meryl Streep.
