Nicole Scherzinger 'engaged to Lewis Hamilton after finally accepting marriage proposal'
NICOLE Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton have reportedly got engaged.
The former X Factor judge is said to have finally accepted her Formula One beau's marriage proposal, after allegedly turning him down three times before.
The couple, who have done well to keep their reunion under wraps so far, are believed to be making plans for an August wedding.
Speaking to the Daily Star, a source said: "Lewis is doing his best to keep the news under wraps but he is absolutely delighted.
"He got down on one knew and Nicole finally accepted."
They added: "The plan is they are going to live together in Seitxerland and travel together when Lewis is racing. Of course, this means her career will have to take a back seat for a while but she is ready to support him on the track.
"It is the ideal plan for the both of them and will hopeful lead to a big summer wedding in August when Lewis has a three-week break from his F1 schedule."
Lewis sparked speculation about an imminent proposal earlier this week after he posted a snap of onto his Instagram account, calling Nicole "wifey."
The pair posed inside the Sistine Chapel with Lewis captioning the image: "This was a great day....truly humbled by the Sistine Chapel plus there with my wifey. #godisthegreatest #sistinechapel #blessed."
And Nicole has also expressed her joy at being back with her on/off boyfriend.
Taking to her Twitter page, the former Pussycat Doll showed her support for Lewis in the Australian Grand Prix.
She wrote: "Congratulations @LewisHamilton So proud of u 4 taking pole position! First race of the season! @f1 #AustralianGP Race ur heart out babe! xo."
And earlier this week she couldn't resist boasting about their relationship as she appeared on ITV's Lorraine with her former X Factor contestants.
Asked by the TV presenter how everything was going with her "lovely man, Nicole replied: "Me and my lovely man are just lovely.
