Jessica Alba 'loved every minute' of starring in Escape From Planet Earth
HOLLYWOOD sex symbol Jessica Alba says she “loved every minute” of starring in a family film she could finally watch with her children.
The Sin City star, 32, was the voice of feisty alien Lena in Escape From Planet Earth.
The role also gave her more time to be a “normal mom” at home with daughters Honor, five, and two-year-old Haven.
“Seeing them every morning and every evening but working at the same time was a novel experience,” she said.
“It’s going to make me think twice in future about agreeing to parts in films that might take eight months to shoot in extremely remote locations.
“Now I am a mother, the hardest part about being an actress is spending time away from family.”
She revealed she prepared for her debut voice-over role by reading stories to her daughters.
The film is released on Friday and a documentary, The Making Of Escape From Planet Earth, is on Channel 5 at 10.35am today.
