Incredible Hulk star Lou Ferrigno grew up with Superman dream
TV's former THE INCREDIBLE HULK LOU FERRIGNO dreamed of becoming SUPERMAN as a kid and once jumped off the roof of his home, believing he could fly like the Man of Steel.
The bodybuilder-turned-actor admits he was a huge comic book fan as a child, and Superman was his hero.
In a new interview for Oprah Winfrey's Where Are They Now? show he recalls, "When I used to watch the Superman TV series with George Reeves, I really thought that Superman was real.
"I jumped off the second storey at my apartment; I had a red blanket, pretending I was Superman. When I hit the concrete, that was the end of reading the Superman comic or Superman period. So I used to focus more on The Incredible Hulk."
