Michelle Dockery is a classic English Rose in a floral coat during an appearance in the US
STUNNING English rose Michele Dockery flew the flag for British fashion during an appearance on Good Morning America.
Appearing on the US breakfast show ahead of the Downton Abbey Christmas special, Michell Dockery looked tres chic in a geometric-print grey and black coat with pale blue floral pattern.
Vastly different to most Essex girls, the pale-skinned 31-year-old wore the stylish mackintosh over a vibrant 1950s style orange dress.
Her dark locks looked in great condition, a classic bob worn in a side-parting for a sweeping fringed look.
To complete her retro inspired ensemble Ms Dockery, who shot to fame as Lady Mary on period drama Downton Abbey, pulled on a pair of black leather gloves and some white stilletos.
The actress smiled despite the brutal New York weather, a GMA representative held an umbrella to sheild her from the snow.
In a recent interview with InStyle magazine, Michelle has revealed that her role as the eldest Crawley sister has afforded her a sense of security.
She revealed: "It's a very solid and successful job: it just gives you that sense of security, I guess. I mean, I own a flat now.
"I worked out that I moved 16 times just from the age of 19, just hopping about from different flats because I couldn't always afford to stay. It's lovely to feel stability."
Now known on both sides of the Atlantic, we're sure Ms Dockery will have financial security for many years to come.
