Annabel and Vincent head into the jungle but not before they're force-fed live grubs!
IT SEEMS as though Vincent Simone and Annabel Giles drew the short straw by going into the jungle five days later than the rest, after having to endure yet another gruelling task earlier tonight.
The pair - who were up most of the night last night as they took part in the Outback Factory task - were forced to hold live insects in their mouths in the horror-filled trial Factory Canteen, including tarantulas and cockroaches.
"I'm not going to open my eyes," said Annabel as she prepared for her second trial in as many days aso involving creepy crawlies.
And while Vincent appeared a lot calmer, it didn't take long for the former Strictly star to crack as the live grubs were prepared.
At one point, Vincent told himself a grasshopper was a chicken nugget to hide the horror.
But the star couldn't handle a large water spider.
He screamed and jumped to his feet as the large spider stung him when it was placed in his mouth.
Annabel kept her eyes firmly closed throughout the trial, which saw a Burrowing Cockroach and a Yabbie being placed into her mouth, but it all became too much as she ducked out of having the water spider come anywhere near her.
Tied with each other, the two had to down a drink of grounded bugs to decide who was the winner.
Vincent stormed the task, quickly seeing off the disgusting beverage.
Annabel didn't even touch the drink and said: "It's like a cup of s***."
I'm such a wimp.
But it wasn't the end of the road for the TV presenter, who was then sent to the jungle prison for losing the task, leaving her on her own for one more night while Vincent headed to meet the others.
Sat behind bars, the 54-year-old moaned and groaned about her night ahead.
But happy Vincent was finally able to make his way to the campsite after two gruelling tasks and hardly any sleep.
And it seemed as though everyone was happy to see him, particularly Joey who gave him an enthusiastic hug as he entered the campsite.
"It was great to see someone new. He's fit right in." said Rebecca Adlington after he arrived unexpectedly from the forest.
After telling the team that he had won the bushtucker trial, the group ignited with joy.
"We are so happy we chose him in the end because he's coming with six meals. That's going to make tonight really nice," added Alfonso Ribeiro.
Vincent even had time to hope his adversary Annabel was doing okay in the scary jungle by herself...alone.
Probably not.
