Cristiano Ronaldo gives David Beckham a run for his money as he launches underwear range
THEY'VE been in competition on the football pitch for years, but it looks as though Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham might be going head to head in the fashion world too.
After launching a successful underwear range with high street giant H&M, it looks as though Portugese footballer Ronaldo wants in on some of David's boxer-short success and has decided to launch his very own range.
The Real Madrid striker took to the Spanish capital to launch his CR7 line, and to mark the special occasion, posed next to a giant semi-naked poster of himself.
Showing off his muscular physique, the star - who was once the face of Armani's underwear line - modelled his very own pair of skintight boxers, which featured a stripy pattern and came complete with the brand's logo CR7 printed on the front.
The handsome 28-year-old looked over the moon with his giant poster and threw his thumbs up for photographers as he took to the stage.
But opting out of appearing in his pants a la Beckham, Ronaldo donned a crisp white shirt and a pair of worn denim jeans for the launch.
The CR7 range hits stores and www.cr7underwear.com today.
