Daniel Radcliffe admits he may never be able to 'break away' from Harry Potter
DANIEL Radcliffe has said he knows he may never be able to “break away” from his Harry Potter past.
The 24-year-old admitted there is probably no role strong enough to seperate him from the child wizard.
Daniel spoke to E! News at the premiere of his new film, The F Word, at the Toronto International Film Festival.
He said: “"There's never going to be one film that comes out that officially breaks me away from Harry.
“It's a process. But I definitely think that these three films are a part of that."
He has three films debuting at the event, including the much anticipated Kill Your Darlings.
The actor plays homosexual beat poet Allen Ginsberg and is in a controversial sex scene with another man.
He also stars in horror-fantasy film Horns as a young man who grows horns after being accused of murdering and raping his girlfriend.
Daniel told the festival that he doesn’t particularly miss playing Harry Potter.
He said: "I'm excited that people will finally get a chance to see me do different stuff. We had a fantastic time doing Harry Potter but it's really exciting to move on and doing other things.,” reported the Daily Telegraph.
He added: "I'll always be incredibly proud of it. I wouldn't be sitting here talking to you all if it weren't for Harry Potter. I have no illusions about that.
“But I don't particularly miss it. I'm very happy doing other things now."
Daniel played Harry Potter through eight films from the age of 11 with Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.
