'Yes, married' Sir Patrick Stewart tweets comical photo of him and his new wife Sunny
LEGENDARY actor Sir Patrick Stewart has married his wife Sonny Ozell, it's been confirmed.
The 73-year-old star shared the happy news with his fans via his Twitter page when he posted a photo of him and his new wife buried in a colourful ball pit.
'Yes, married," was the caption that accompanied the comical photo which Stewart tweeted yesterday evening.
The happy couple can be seen grinning for the camera with only their heads visible as the muck around in the children's play area.
It is believed that the pair were married by Stewart's good friend Sir Ian McKellen.
The 'Lord of the Rings' star revealed that he would be marrying them, when he appeared on 'The Jonathan Ross Show' earlier this year, saying: "I am going to marry Patrick."
Stewart has been with Ozell since 2008, and met whilst the actor was performing Macbeth at the Brooklyn Academy Of Music.
He moved in with the 35-year-old singer/songwriter in 2012, after Stewart purchased a property in Brooklyn's Park Slope.
The 'Star Trek' star has been married twice before. His first marriage to Sheila Falconer lasted for 24 years but ended in divorced in 1990.
The former couple have two children together, a son Daniel and daughter Sophia.
In 2000, Stewart married Wendy Neuss, one of the producers of Star Trek: The Next Generation. However, their union ended in divorce just three years later.
