How embarrassing! Emma Roberts is 'turned away from bakery' after queue jumping
HEIDI Klum was on the waiting list for two weeks, but it looks as though Emma Roberts was unable to wait that long to get her hands on the popular Cronut, which is currently all the rage.
The star - who is currently starring in comedy Meet The Millers alongside Jennifer Aniston - turned up at the increasingly popular Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York and tried to jump the queue in order to see what all the fuss was about.
But, embarrassingly the diva actress was turned away by staff at the door while members of the public looked on.
The 22-year-old, who wore a peach dress and white trainers, and her publicist assumed that they could skip the queue thanks to her stardom, but were sent to the back of the line by the doorman.
According to onlookers, Emma headed to the back of the queue but after several minutes of waiting, gave up and went home.
However, the blonde actress managed to get what she wanted after all when Jimmy Fallon presented her with the sweet treat during her appearance on the show.
The star was ecstatic as the host unveiled the single Cronut to her on a silver plate.
The Cronut - which has been described as a half donut, half croissant - has become increasingly popular and featured on several popular TV shows.
And supermodel Heidi Klum recently flew a whole box out of the City in a private jet, after patiently making her way to the top of the two week waiting list.
"I have literally waited weeks to try one of @DominiqueAnsel's Cronuts and it was definitely worth the wait!" she tweeted on Thursday.
Heidi then shared a photo of herself on a private jet with a box strapped into the seat beside her and wrote that she was "Flying back home with a box of #cronuts for my loved ones."
