Apprentice loser Luisa Zissman reveals she's already got 16 investors for her baking firm
SHE might not have won the Apprentice, but Luisa Zissman has already secured alternative investment for her baking business.
The 25-year-old, who came second behind Leah Totton in the final on Wednesday, has apparently got a mighty 16 investors on board for her idea to run a bakers' wholesaler, providing big businesses with baking tools.
And she is apparently preparing to launch her firm later this year.
The wannabe entrepreneur took to her Twitter page to reveal her good news, and even admitted that she was happier not winning.
"Thanks for all your support!! Sorry I didn't win! But pitched today to @AngelsDen & have 16 Investors interested!" she wrote.
"@AngelsDen is a MUCH better investment for me personally would defo recommend!! X."
She added: "Instead of applying for the apprentice check out @AngelsDen I pitched today and have 16 investors on board to make Bakers Toolkit happen!!
"Being an entrepreneur is about picking urself up dusting urself off and focusing on the nx thing (sic)."
Viewers watched as Luisa fell at the final hurdle on Wednesday after being caught out by a question on profits during her pitch.
The brunette broke down in tears after she told them she couldn't answer the question.
Doctor Leah Totton was crowned winner of The Apprentice, pocketing a £250,000 cash injection from Lord Sugar for her cosmetic procedures business.
The mogul’s money will now help the to start a chain of clinics offering anti-ageing treatments such as chemical peels.
