Sharon Osbourne agrees X Factor comeback in £1.5m deal
SHARON Osbourne has agreed a deal worth more than £1.5million to return to The X Factor.
The 60-year-old wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne will reportedly replace singer Tulisa, 24, on the judges’ panel.
Outspoken Sharon quit the ITV show in 2007 after four years.
Her comeback is due to be officially unveiled shortly after she reputedly won a £300,000 bonus to cover first-class flights between London and Los Angeles where she is based, luxury hotel suites, and hair and make-up. X Factor mogul Simon Cowell is said to have a soft spot for Sharon despite their previously strained friendship.
Gary Barlow, 42, Nicole Scherzinger, 34, and Sharon’s good friend Louis Walsh, 61, are also due to return as judges, on at least £1million.
A source said: “Sharon and TV bosses feel there is very much unfinished business following her first stint on the show. They are delighted she has agreed to return.
“It was never about the money for Sharon. She genuinely loves the programme.”
