Gwyneth Paltrow's LA neighbours complain over 'too high' gates
GWYNETH Paltrow may face a $900 fine after her neighbours in Los Angeles made an official complaint about the height of her gates.
The 40-year-old actress and her husband Chris Martin paid to have a nine-foot-tall gate built in front of their mansion in Brentwood, but according to TMZ this is three foot taller than the legal limit and her neighbours feel it is an eyesore.
One angry neighbor said that no other residents, including celebrities such as Harrison Ford and Oliver Stone, have gates over six feet tall and therefore they don't know why Paltrow should either.
The Los Angeles City Department of Building and Safety have confirmed that they are investigating the complaint and that the Hollywood star will have 45 days to fix any violations, and perhaps face a fine.
