Meat Loaf cancels Nottingham concert due to illness
ILLNESS forced Meat Loaf to cancel a Nottingham concert on Sunday just before it was due to start.
This time it wasn’t the Bat Out Of Hell singer who was feeling poorly but several members of his band.
The 65-year-old has broken his leg on stage and also suffered a heart attack. He felt disorientated at the 2009 Q Awards, which was put down to vertigo. Then he had to pull out of a television appearance on ITV’s Loose Women after being taken ill on set in 2012.
Fans were told at 6.30pm – with doors at the Capital FM arena set to open half an hour later.
The concert has been rescheduled for May 20 with all original tickets still valid.
