Cheryl Cole is back to help Gary Barlow on The X Factor
CHERYL Cole returned to The X Factor last night as a guest mentor to help pal Gary Barlow.
The former judge, who left the show two years ago, joined the Take That star to put his acts from the over-28s category through their paces during the judges’ houses stage of the ITV1 talent show.
Cheryl left after the 2010 series to take up a place on the US version of the show. She agreed to a temporary comeback helping Barlow as he took his hopefuls to a country pile in Northamptonshire.
The Girls Aloud singer, who got her big break on TV talent show Popstars: The Rivals, told the contestants: “I’ve been there so I know how you are all feeling.”
Viewers will tonight find out which acts judges Gary, Louis Walsh, Tulisa Contostavlos and Nicole Scherzinger have put through to the live shows.
