Elizabeth Hurley praises shop bosses for diverse ad campaign
Actress/model ELIZABETH HURLEY has commended bosses of Marks & Spencer for choosing a child with Down's syndrome to star in their latest campaign.
The Bedazzled star praised the chain for casting four-year-old Seb White in its new Christmas catalogue after his mother complained about the lack of diversity in mainstream advertising campaigns.
The actress is president of The Hop, Skip & Jump Foundation, a charity which aims to provide day care facilities for children with learning disabilities.
In a post on Twitter.com, she writes, "As president of the Hop Skip & Jump Foundation, I applaud M&S (Marks & Spencer) for using an adorable child who has Down's Syndrome in their Xmas (sic) catalogue."
