Doris Day is back on song at 87
DORIS Day releases a new single on Radio 2 tomorrow – at the age of 87.
Doris Day has chosen Paul O’Grady’s afternoon show to debut her ballad, Heaven Tonight.
It is the star’s first single in 17 years. O’Grady, 56, said last night: “I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember.” Oscar winner Doris said she is delighted her music has stood the test of time. She added: “It’s such a thrill.”
The song was co-written by her late son, Terry Melcher.
