I worked with Katie Price and she showed true colours within minutes
EXCLUSIVE Actress and screenwriter Charlotte Kirk was the only one who worked with the reality star in the movie.
Katie Price has unlocked a new career achievement as she was featured in a racy thriller movie directed by Michael Head, and her co-star has shared what it is like working with the former glamour model. The movie, Jackie the Stripper, revovles around Jackie and her band of female vigilante assassins who hatch a plan to kill members of the "evil" male dominated court.
The cast features Pussycat Doll singer Kimberly Wyatt, actress and screenwriter Charlotte Kirk, Harry Potter star James Phelps, and Emmerdale star Patsy Kensit. Katie plays the role of character, Lisa, whose job is to teach to women in the club how to strip. In the trailer, she was seen telling one of the strippers (played by Charlotte) that they are stronger than they think they are.
Ahead of the premiere in Leceister Square, Charlotte exclusively spoke to Express.co.uk and shared how it was workin with the reality star, who has recently launched a four-part documentary, Katie Price: Nothing to Hide.
Charlotte paused to recall the moment and said: "I was there that day, I think she only acted with me. Yeah she was... you know, how to work the camera. She knows what to do." Charlotte explained that Katie had about four lines in her role, which she continued: "She's new at this, she's not...you'll see."
The interview room descended into a moment of silence as Charlotte reflected and continued: "Very random, but she was good, I guess. If I was her, you know, coming in and [the film set can be] quite intimidating. She did. She was good, she held her own."
Director Michael has also been personally praising Katie's skills as an actress. He penned on social media: "Katie Price was brilliant to work with and gives a great performance. Bring on Jackie 2!"
Co-star Kimberly Wyatt previously told Express.co.uk of her "intense" work to prepare for the barmaid role in the movie after a hip replacement surgery. She had the opportunity to do a fight scene, and she utilised her dance experience and kickboxing skills to perfect the stunt. Kimberly added: "It was pretty intense, but I was well up for it."
The mum-of-three also recalled the "dreadful" recovery from her hip replacement surgery, which happened two and a half years ago. She told us: "I had no quality of life, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't walk.
"I was limping, continuing to work, and I kept it from everybody. But I have rehabbed it, and I will continue to rehab it, and I do have to consider it as I warm myself up for performances and always listen to my body."
