Meghan Markle snubbed by British icon in awkward Paris Fashion Week moment

In an embarrassing moment for Meghan Markle, she appears to have been snubbed by British actress Dame Kristin Scott Thomas at Paris Fashion Week while attending the Balenciaga fashion show in the European capital. In the now viral moment, Meghan could be seen speaking in a small group with Kristin, and was mid-flow when Kristin started to walk off, completely ignoring her.

In a move that has been described as “transcending ignoring”, Kristin smirked slightly at the camera and left Meghan open-mouthed as she moved away. Now the move has been broken down by TheBodyLanguageGuy, who said: “Hands down one of the cringiest moments of Balenciaga for Meghan was when she was completely ignored by Dame Kristin Scott.

“You are seeing it right now in real time – Meghan is about to give her speech of the dishwasher. So from her 11 year old anecdote.

“And Kristin Scott says, ‘You know what? I’m out of here’ and she very elegantly says, ‘I’m trying to slide here, I ignore, pretend she doesn’t exist…’”

Switching the camera angle to show Kristin more in focus, he said: “We can see this at a better angle here, see that Meghan was so, ‘Oh, amazing’ and Kristin Scott says, ‘I don’t want anybody to be taking pictures or video of me next to her. Not in this lifetime’. What would you have done?”

Meghan wore an oversized ivory button-down blouse with a matching scarf draped around her shoulders, adding wide-legged trousers and heels to the ensemble.

At the same show, Meghan was accused of “giggling” as a model took a tumble on the Balenciaga catwalk, gasping with horror and then chuckling as her friend beside her remained stoic.

A representative has, however, insisted Meghan was not laughing at the fall, though she instead wore a neutral expression for the remainder of the show.
