Gabby Logan flooded with support as she announces death of family member
Gabby Logan has shared a heartbreaking tribute following the death of a beloved family member she's described as "one in a million"

Gabby Logan, 52, has been flooded with support after announcing the passing of her beloved family pet, Milo the Boxer dog, to her social media followers, who died aged 14. The sports presenter shared a lovely photograph of Milo looking sweet and healthy and wrote a touching statement about losing him beside the heartbreaking image of her four-legged friend.
Taking to Instagram to share the tragic news, the TV presenter wrote: "Our hearts are broken. Our big guy has gone. Milo, you were truly one in a million. You were the model of stoicism. You didn’t fuss or bother with unnecessary petting. You adored a sniff on your walk, and you did love an itch. There was nothing better than a scratch in your bed just under your chin.

"Visitors knew you were in charge. Nobody was ever going to harm your children, who would grow up to be your favourite humans. Even when your number one hobby became sleeping, the voices of @_loislogan and @reuben_logan as they came home and through the door could stir you from your slumber. Your little tail wagging with joy. 8am and 5pm were etched on your body clock.
"You’d come and find us if we’d dared not to notice the time. You welcomed Maggie in as a puppy and cuddled her in your bed, and then in the winter of your life, when we thought you might be about to leave us, along came Maverick."
She concluded: "And somehow you rallied and found two years more to guide him and enjoy his vitality and youth. I can’t tell you how much you have meant to us, Milo. 14 years of being the boss, we are forever grateful you chose us to love."
Gabby's friends and followers flocked to the comment section to send their condolences.
Gemma Atkinson penned: "Oh Gabby, I'm so sorry for you all." Someone else said: "What a gorgeous boy, sending so much love to you all." A third added: "Feeling your pain, Gabby. They touch our hearts so deeply and it’s impossible to know quite how much until they are gone. Sending so much love to you all."
A fourth said, "Boxers are the best, and the giant boxer-shaped hole they leave behind is a testament to their one-of-a-kind character. xx Sending you all love and strength." Someone else replied, "Milo, you were an absolute gem. I will miss you waddling over to greet me. So much love to you all."
