How Brad Pitt's relationship with two of his kids has broken down
Brad Pitt is said to have all but given up hope on fixing his relationship with two of his sons in the wake of his bitter divorce from Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt has allegedly severed ties with two of his children shared with former spouse Angelina Jolie. The 61 year old star of Fight Club and Angelina, 50, exchanged vows in 2014 following a whirlwind romance that ignited on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005.
Once regarded as Hollywood's golden couple, they separated in 2016, leading to a high-profile split marked by Angelina filing for divorce the same year. A string of acrimonious disputes over custody and business interests ensued, some of which are still ongoing, despite their divorce being finalised this year.
The former pair's legal battles have encompassed issues surrounding their six children and the division of their joint assets, including their Château Miraval winery in France - a conflict dubbed the battle of rosé.
Brad and Angelina are parents to six children: Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both 16. However, Brad's relationship with Pax is reportedly strained, with Pax once labelling him a 'world-class a**hole'.
Following images of Pax emerging from the Chateau Marmont with friends last month, a source close to Brad suggested the actor was indifferent to "what Pax does or doesn't do," stating: "He has zero concern.", reports the Mirror.

"Brad honestly considers his relationship with Pax unfixable," a source revealed to the Mail, hinting that the actor might be on the verge of severing ties with another one of his progeny while still holding onto hope for his other children.
At the same time, it was divulged by an insider that Brad seems disinclined to initiate contact with either of his sons, declaring he has "nothing to say about either of them."
Shiloh, who turned 18 last year, legally altered her surname to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, eschewing the 'Pitt' appendage, while at least three of Brad's other children have unofficially dropped their father's last name.
The tension within the family unit appears pronounced, given that another son, Maddox, reportedly had a physical altercation with Brad aboard a private aircraft back in 2016.
Maddox offered a noncommittal response regarding his connection with Brad when speaking to In Touch Weekly in 2019, saying simply: "Whatever happens, happens."
Furthermore, a confidant told MailOnline that Brad places the blame squarely on Angelina for the estrangement from their offspring. They asserted: "They are now old enough to make their own choices and if their choices include drama that is all on them. Brad would be there to give advice, but he cannot be when he is unable to have a relationship with them at this time."
A source close to Angelina Jolie has alleged that Brad Pitt "continues to play the victim". They elaborated: "His fractured relationship with his children is a direct result of how he has treated them. He should stop blaming others. If he wants to rebuild a relationship with the kids, he should acknowledge his own actions and make amends."
There are also concerns regarding the family support for Jolie and Pitt's children, as the actress is estranged from her brother, leaving them without much extended family. In a rare public comment about his divorce, Brad revealed: "I don't think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally."
In an intimate GQ interview, Brad addressed the continuous media scrutiny he's experienced, stating: "It's been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let's put it that way."
Following the finalisation of their divorce, Angelina's lawyer communicated the actress's exhaustion and relief at the conclusion of this chapter, saying: "Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over."
Attorney James Simon told the Associated Press: "More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago."
The Mirror has attempted to contact Brad and Angelina's representatives for additional insights.
