Britain's Got Talent final: Fans fume 'never watching again' as Harry Moulding wins

The future of ITV's Britain's Got Talent was confirmed as fans waited to see who had been successful in tonight's live show. 

The hosts announced that applications for the next series are now open - confirming that the show will be back for another year. 

Despite the winner being decided by the public, fans online are fuming that the results have been "fixed". 

Posting to X/Twitter, one fumed: "Blackouts were so much better than that magician who spent half the act showing a clearly staged video… terrible choice from the British public yet again (or a fix) #bgt."

One more added: "Surely to God that has to be some sort of fix, don't even know how the magician managed to get into the top three, never mind win the thing he was boring af!! shoulda been bonita or blackout."

Others admitted this is the final time they would tune in as they fumed: "I’m never watching Britain’s got talent again."

"Worst final ever omg," declared another viewer.

Magician Harry Moulding has been announced as the winner of Britain's Got Talent 2025.

Binita has finished the competition in third place. 

Only The Blackouts and Harry Moulding remain.

The results are in, with some shocking outcomes. The audience booed as Jasmine Rice and Hear Our Voice were read out.

Former guest judge, KSI, made a return to the ITV show as he performed his new single live on stage.

Ant and Dec have announced that voting for the BGT 2025 winner is now open.

Olly received glowing comments from the judges as he rocked around the stage. The 11-year-old, who Simon Cowell described as a brilliant musician, said that he felt "on top of the world".

Ant and Dec congratulated him as they said it was "the best way to finish the show". 

Ant and Dec announced that they would need to speak to the judges as the final act of the night, guitarist Olly Pearson, 11, was "not quite ready". 

However, after just a minute or so they then shared that he was coming onto the stage as he delivered an epic rock performance.

Simon Cowell posed in front of the audience, grinning widely as he shared a snap from the ad break to his Instagram account.

Fans of BGT as Harry Moulding took to the stage as they questioned why "some acts get longer than others". The standard time for a performance is just two minutes, but Harry's magic act felt like it went on much longer. 

He performed a card trick, involving the judges, before cutting to a VT which showed his predictions for the magic. 

But fans at home felt it was "too long". One said: "Why do some acts get longer than others #BGT."

Another added: "It seems everyone has a time limit but him… #bgt." A third wrote: "Ok you've had 5 minutes already so off you trot...you can't have double time matey. #BGTFinal #BGT."

After The Blackouts took to the stage, to perform a spectacular dance and light show, Alesha Dixon shared that she was not sure who might win. 

She said: "I honestly feel like I'm at the greatest show on earth tonight. This show just keeps getting better and better. I'm so confused as to who is going to win."

Dancer Binita is the youngest act of the night, at just nine years old. She delivered a beautiful routine landed some positive comments from the judges as the audience chanted her name.

Drag queen Jasmine Rice left the audience in awe, as they all jumped up to their feet after their performance. 

Taking up the stage in a beautiful red gown, the act performed a beautiful operatic song. 

Amanda declared: "I think we may have just seen the winner of Britain's Got Talent. I have no other words."

Simon agreed that the act was "in a different league" to everything else they had seen tonight, vocally. 

ITV's Scottish legend Lorraine Kelly made a surprise appearance, via video message, as she backed one of tonight's BGT finalists. 

Singer Vinnie McKee received a personal message from the talk show host as she wished him luck for his performance.

Ant and Dec were forced to step in and apologise as judge Bruno Tonioli had a "slip of the tongue". 

When making his comments for Joseph Charm, the excited judge said remarked: "We were just p*****g," before quickly correcting himself.

The Geordie hosts said they were "very sorry" to anyone who may have been offended.

Amanda Holden has praised an act for saying what he wanted to. Joseph Charm took to the BGT stage as he cracked some jokes about his dad, work, office party, parenting and children.

He then took time out of his routine to hit back at trolls. He explained he had been hit with claims he wasn't funny, he has only got to where he is because he is black and that he was shockingly told he should 'go back to where he came from'.

In an epic response, he replied: "I don't want to go back to Lewisham."

Amanda said: "So much now, we're being squashed, we're being judged and we are not allowed to say what we want. You said what you wanted!"

Comedian Joseph Charm hit the stage, as he began his act in a melodic style. He sang a little tune before getting into his comedy routine. 

But fans weren't overly impressed, with some "switching off". One complained: "Just catching a glimpse of #bgt, oh my God, how s*** is this programme now. They can't sing and the comedy isn't comedy. Shocking.. turned off."

Another moaned: "#bgt Please make him stop," while a third added: "Nope. Wasn't funny in any of his previous performances, isn't funny tonight. #bgt."

Viewers at home already seem confident that Hear Out Voice have the win in the bag tonight. 

One posted to X/Twitter: "Ahhh, here are the winners, a sob story original but a classic." Another added: "Hear Our Voice could actually win this!"

Someone else said: "I did not like the song choice by #HearOurVoice. Still hope they win, though. #BGT."

Hear Our Voice took to the stage next as Alesha Dixon shared that she thinks the country is going to "really get behind them". 

The choir performed an original song, as Amanda said: "You make us proud to be British". 

Simon added: "It told us, you, that the public hadn't forgotten about you. And they really want you to succeed and get justice.

"If you won, it would be a massive F you to a group of people that deserve it."

Judge Simon Cowell was known for his sharp-tongue and brutal comments back in the days of judging X Factor. But now, fans of BGT are claiming that he has "gone soft" as he seems to have put that side of him behind him. 

So far, tonight's final has saw the head judge in good spirits as he dishes out the praise. 

Fans on social media criticised him for the change, with one saying: "Simon’s gone soft, go back to the days where he would tell people how s***e they were and not be afraid to say it. They can’t all win! #BGT."

Another added: "Oh Simon you’ve gone soft, go back to the days where you used to basically tell people to f**k off #BGT."

Stacey Leadbetter received a standing ovation from Simon Cowell after a moving rendition of Robbie Williams' Angels. 

However, she received some less than glowing comments from the other judges, with Alesha asking is her throat was dry and saying that it wasn't a perfect vocal. However, she admitted that she "admires her".

Ping Pong Pang took to the stage with an energetic and colourful performance. Alesha Dixon said she would have "liked to see more ping pongs," while Amanda Holden said the act was "absolutely perfect."

Simon added that he has a "very, very good feeling" about the group, while Bruno jumped out of his seat to deliver his comments in excitement saying that he "loved it". 

Fans at home seemed to have a very mixed response to the wildcard act being brought back. Posting to social media one complained: "Absolutely ridiculous decision tbh. We already have enough singers, we need more variety. Next year, please let the public vote for the wildcard.. #BGT."

Another added: "I cannot believe they've put Han and Fran through as a wildcard when we had a woman on a unicycle throwing bowls on her hair and some great musicians and danger acts. Show is a shambles. #bgt #britainsgottalent."

However, not everyone agreed as someone else shared: "I adore you, Han and Fran! The PERFECT Wildcard."

After the wildcard was announced, they took to the stage just minutes after. Singing duo Han and Fran donned all white outfits as they bashed out a number of Abba tunes in a delightful performance. 

Bruno exclaimed: "Oh wow! That is how you get a party started!"

Each year one act is brought back after being sent home in the semi-finals. The 2025 wildcard has been confirmed as Han and Fran. 

KSI will be returning to Britain's Got Talent this evening. The star took to social media to confirm that he will be taking to the stage at the live final for an extra special performance of his new single, Catch Me If You Can.

Amanda Holden has given fans a sneak peek at her outfit for this evening's final. Posting to Instagram, she showed off her low-plunging, white dress - which she had custom made. 

She wore her hair in a low bun, with a dazzling hair piece to compliment the backless gown. 

The Britain's Got Talent final is completely down to the public vote. Thankfully, voting is simple and free.

The Britain's Got Talent 2025 winner will take home a £250,000 cash prize. They also bag a chance to perform for the King with a spot in the 2025 Royal Variety Performance.

Last Saturday, eight semi-finalists took to the stage to put on the performance of their lives, in a bid to make it through to the grand finale. After a standout performance involving a marriage proposal, Harry Moulding was awarded guest judge KSI’s Golden Buzzer and Binita’s dance performance received the most public votes, granting both acts a place in the final.

Other performances from the night included Jerry Pop, music from CJ Emmons and Han and Fran, magic from Manho Han, unicycle tricks from Red Panda, and comedy stunts from The Lazy Generation.

Following her performance of 'Tomorrow' from 'Annie' for her audition, judge Amanda Holden sent Sydnie Christmas straight through to the semi-finals with the Golden Buzzer, and she advanced to the grand final of the competition following her rendition of 'My Way'.

After wowing audiences with her version of 'Over the Rainbow', Sydnie won the competition and performed at the Royal Variety Show in 2025.

There are 11 acts confirmed to take to the stage, but one performer is a wild card act which will be revealed later during the show.

Alongside Binita and Harry, the acts include: LED Dance Group The Blackouts, singer Vinnie McKee, crooner Stacey Leadbeatter, and strummer Olly Pearson.

They will be joined by drag star Jasmine Rice, dance troupe Ping Pong Pang, comedian Joseph Charm, and the tuneful Post Office choir Hear Our Voice.

Britain’s Got Talent 2025 final will air on ITV1, ITVX, and STV at 7 p.m. on Saturday (May 31) and is scheduled to finish at 9:45 p.m.

Guest judge KSI is expected to return for a special performance.
