Piers Morgan has revealed that things didn't go to plan on Tuesday (May 6) when he attempted to interview controversial rapper, Kanye West.

Taking to Instagram, the veteran broadcaster explained that he had wanted to talk about some of the musicians most contentious topics, including his swastika-branded clothing range and his comments about Hitler and the Nazis. However, before they could really get into it, the 47-year-old allegedly "stomped off".

Alongside a photo of Kanye, Piers wrote: "I interviewed Kanye West again today. As I expected, given what I’ve said about him recently, it didn’t last long or go well. This was him right before he stomped off like a big baby before I could ask him why he’s become a vile, Hitler-loving, Nazi-slathering, anti-Semitic p****."

Kanye has made headlines repeatedly in recent months, however, it hasn't been for his music. The rapper left his fans in utter disbelief back in February after unleashing a reprehensible tirade on X, where he branded himself a 'racist' and a 'Nazi', and asserting control over his new wife, Bianca Censori.

It came after the 47-year-old's polarising appearance at the Grammy Awards with his 30-year-old Australian model wife, where Bianca's decision to go completely nude on the red carpet caused an outcry.

Just weeks later, he posted a photo of himself wearing a KKK costume. The robes and pointed hat are associated with white supremacist organisation the Ku Klux Klan. It was the latest in a series of shocking stunts, who accessorised his sick outfit with a bejewelled swastika necklace - a chilling symbol of Nazi Germany.

Kanye, who previously caused outrage by suggesting that slavery was "a choice", and making anti-Semitic slurs against Jews which saw his social media accounts suspended, also spoke disparagingly of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

Talking to podcaster DJ Akademiks, Kanye spoke of his regret over having four children with Kim, claiming that he now has "no say-so" in their upbringing.

He claimed, "That was my fault. I didn't want to have children with this person after the first two months of being with her, but that wasn't God's plan." He also griped that his kids were the only "brand" that he had no control over, suggesting he should be awarded "at least fifty-fifty with [them]". Kim had reportedly taken emergency legal action when she discovered that their eldest child, daughter North West, had contributed vocals to a track featuring Sean Diddy Coombs while in Kanye's care.

Diddy is currently in jail awaiting trial on rape and sex trafficking charges, something which he vehemently denies. Kanye angrily fired back in his latest interview about Kim contesting the track, arguing: "My kids are celebrities and I don't have the say so. This white woman and this white family have the control of these highly influential black kids that are half the children of Ye."
