He was spotted packing on the PDA with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy. The duo appeared in high spirits as they sweetly sang together.

A video from the event showed them thoroughly enjoying their evening at the Movistar Arena as they danced the night away. In the clip, Liam was spotted waving his arm while kissing Kate, 25, on the head.

It has been said that Liam was excited to jet to South America after telling fans earlier this month, that he would attend the star-studded show.

He said that the duo hadn't spoken for a while and needed to catch up – following their busy schedules.

Liam gushed over Niall after they managed to catch up backstage, and wrote: "So happy I got to see Niall in concert."

Liam tragically died on Wednesday (October 16) after he plunged to his death after tragically falling from his hotel balcony.

His fall resulted in "extremely serious injuries" and medics confirmed his death on the spot, Buenos Aires police said in a statement.

City ambulance service provider spokesman Alberto Crescenti said he had fallen around 40 metres and suffered "severe injuries which were incompatible with life."

The emergency servicemen shared: "The alarm was raised at 5.04pm local time saying a person was lying in an internal patio at Casa Sur.

"At 5.11pm an ambulance arrived and the man was certified dead. Afterwards we found out he had been a famous singer. Unfortunately the injuries he had suffered as a result of the fall proved to be fatal. There was no possibility of resuscitating him."

The news has shocked family, friends and fans of the star. Dermot O’Leary appeared on This Morning earlier today and sent condolences to his family in a teary interview.

While Simon Cowell was forced to cancel Britain’s Got Talent audition in Blackpool, in the wake of the news.
