Liam and Noel Gallagher are the glue that holds Oasis and decided to put their ongoing feud aside and reunite after 15 years away from the stage. The brothers 51, and 57, are set to sell out 14 stadiums and arenas next year when they tour the UK and Ireland.

However, has not been confirmed who else will be joining – as the original group consists of five individuals. The rock group consisted of Liam Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan and Tony McCarroll.

Liam asked older brother Noel to join as the fifth member a few months later - which finalised their formation and started a global phenomenon. Little did the youngsters know that when they formed the band back in 1991 they would dominate the charts and soar to stardom.

They quickly became one of the most recognisable names in British music history after dominating the charts. In April 1995, "Some Might Say" became their first number-one UK single.

Although there were several changes over the years, Liam and Noel were the original members left when they officially parted ways back in August 2009. Fast forward 33 years later the duo are set to make one of the biggest comebacks in history earning themselves millions.

Singer and Songwriter Liam Gallagher

Liam has been dubbed as the heart and soul of Oasis after he officially formed the band and appointed all of its members.

He represented what the young band was all about: being yourself, a rebel, having fun and a laugh, while not caring about the opinions of others a damn about what others. The singer-songwriter was the embodiment of British lad culture and brought his cool quirky vibes to Britpop in the 90s.

The Manchester-born star was the lead singer of the band. Before later fronting the rock band Beady Eye from 2009 to 2014.

In 1997 he welcomed his first child, Molly, with Lisa Moorish who was a singer too. It was reported that Molly who is now 26 had always known Liam was her father (she was conceived two months after he married Patsy Kensit), but only met him for the first time when she was 20.

During the same year he married actress Patsy Kensit but shortly divorced three years later. They share a 24-year-old son named Lennon.

In 2000 less than a year after he split with Patsy, 56, he dated and later married Nicole Appleton and quickly got her pregnant welcoming son Gene, 23.
