Gethin Jones 'furious' as he issues update after Morning Live return date confirmed
BBC presenter Gethin Jones shared his frustration as he issued an update with his followers ahead of Morning Live's return.
Gethin Jones admitted he was "furious" as he shared an update on social media. The Morning Live presenter, 46, is currently filming, but took a quick break to grab his colleagues a coffee.
However, he stumbled into some trouble when he realised the coffee shops he planned to go to didn't exist. Taking to his Instagram Stories, Gethin told his followers: "Just walked 20 minutes to get a coffee for Alex and Amy before shoot day number two and the coffee shops don't exist.
"I've had to come back and tell them the bad news." The Welsh broadcaster followed this up with a selfie alongside the caption: "Furious." Gethin then shared a photo of his two colleagues, adding that they were "also furious".
Morning Live has been off air since July 19, with Gethin previously revealing the show would be going on hiatus.

At the time, he told viewers: "That's it for today, it's our last show tomorrow before a bit of a summer break, we'll see you at 9:30am, thanks all."
But fans don't have long to wait as the programme is set to return in just a few days. The announcement clip was posted via Morning Live's official Instagram page, where Gethin confirmed: "We are back in one week's time, August 26, 9.30am, BBC One!"
While the show has been on a break, BBC One has kept audiences entertained by broadcasting other series such as Rip Off Britain and Animal Park.
The Morning Live presenters have been keeping themselves busy while off air as they recently reunited for a fun-filled day out. Gethin joined Helen Skelton and Michelle Ackerley at the Lake District, sharing snaps of their adventures on Instagram.

In one photo, the trio posed for a selfie wearing life jackets in preparation for activities on the water. Another image featured the presenters sat in a kayak, while a third showed Gethin carrying Helen's daughter Elsie on his shoulders as they strolled through the woods.
He wrote: "Perfect few days with these gems! We walked, talked, swam, paddled, ate, drank, ate, ran, swam, played football, rugby and some other games that haven’t been named yet!"
