Josie Gibson's heartbreaking fears for son and dilemma over second baby after milestone
This Morning star Josie Gibson previously revealed she can feel lonely after heartbreak and spends "quite a lot of time" on her own, leading her to worry about her son.
In an unearthed interview, Josie Gibson revealed her heartbreaking fears for her son Reggie, as she spoke out on the possibility of welcoming a second child.
Josie, who can regularly be seen presenting on This Morning, recently threw a joint birthday party for her now-five-year-old son Reggie, and godson Rory. She took the youngsters to a Ninja Warrior Adventure Park in her native Bristol.
However, it's not always been easy for the former Big Brother winner, as she previously opened up about concerns she's had for Reggie, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Terry Bond.
On the We Dive Deeper podcast with Kate McGill in 2019, Josie shared how she worries Reggie could grow up on his own - if something were to happen to her or his dad.
However, the star confessed she felt “lucky” with Reggie’s birth, as she was at her baby shower when her water broke in 2018. She went to hospital the following day and doctors attempted to induce her. However after attempts failed, Josie was whisked away for a C-section.
She said: “They said we’re going to get you in for a C-section and they whipped him out. He was through the sunroof.
“I think I got away very lucky with Reg. Plus, I want to enjoy Reg. If you have another one, I think, I mean, it’s hard enough as it is.
“I would be happy with just Reggie, yeah. But then I think, oh, I don’t want him to be on his own. Like if anything happened to me or anything happened to his dad, he’s all on his own.
“But then it’s easier for him to go and live with somebody when he’s on his own. And so you think about all these things and get really upset.”

Josie, who says she “came into her own” due to motherhood, also admitted it can be quite an isolating experience. She revealed she spends “quite a lot of time” on her own.
When asked about when she feels lonely, Josie said: “Do you know what? I feel lonely when I don’t get the support I need. I spend a lot of time on my own, believe it or not.
“I do talk to him all the time to be fair. But yeah, obviously I felt a lot lonely before having Reg.”
She also admitted feeling lonely after relationship breakdowns. She added: “Obviously, when you lose somebody, you feel so lonely, don’t you? But I think loneliness is horrible.”
Josie was recently rumoured to be dating fellow ITV star Stephen Mulhern. However, she soon quashed the rumours, telling the Evening Standard she is “so single it’s ridiculous”.
