Amidst the ongoing turbulence in her personal life, Angelina Jolie has been celebrating her Broadway success.

The Oscar-winning actress graced the red carpet at the 2024 Tony Awards alongside her daughter Vivienne, in support of her nominated play, The Outsiders.

Angelina dazzled in a teal velvet ensemble while Vivienne opted for a matching vest and bow tie combo.

The 49-year-old star recently offered a rare glimpse into her relationship with her 15-year-old daughter, who served as her assistant during the production of the play.

"My daughter Viv loves theatre. She appreciates all theatre but she certainly knows what she feels close to and what she responds to," she told Deadline.

"She went to see The Outsiders at La Jolla about five times and was telling me about it, and I had read the book, and I'd seen the film years ago."

When asked what aspects of The Outsiders resonated with her daughter, Angelina reportedly chuckled before responding: "Oh, it's hard to speak for her, because she's a complex young woman.

"I think it's just that it's very deep, and it's honest, and it doesn't shy away from real feelings and real discussion and real pain.

"I think maybe every person that watches it might identify slightly more with one character or another, right, but what I think you see through it all is there is pain in life, right?"

Amid continuing family drama with her ex-partner Brad Pitt, rumors circulate as Vivienne decided to drop "Pitt" from her playbill name, while their daughter Shiloh aims to entirely remove it.

Funding the procedure herself, Shiloh submitted legal documents on May 30th to legally erase "Pitt" from her surname.

This action took place just three days after she turned 18, even though reports in the Daily Mail suggest that she had been contemplating it since the age of 14.

A source informed the outlet that "The name change goes back to the custody battle, and Shiloh's belief that her rights as a victim were violated," and further asserted that "Shiloh believed she had the right, as a victim of crime, to testify - and was prevented from doing so.

The Outsiders received an impressive 12 Tony award nominations, which included one for Best New Musical.
