Ellie Bamber recreates Kate Moss' iconic 30th birthday look in first-seen pics for biopic

Ellie Bamber has been seen recreating Kate Moss' iconic 30th birthday look for the new biopic Moss and Freud.

The film, backed by Kate now 50, is set to tell the story of her infamous relationship with artist Lucian Freud, who died aged 88 in 2011.

In a first look at Ellie portraying Kate, the 27-year-old is seen leaving very little to the imagine in the same midnight blue vintage sequinned gown Kate wore to her 30th party at Claridge's hotel, back in 2004.

Once famed as one of London's most decadent parties, the theme for the occasion was The Beautiful And Damned and the model didn't disappoint with her outfit and matching eye-grabbing make-up. 

Also a part of the recreation, Ellie is seen sporting Kate's signature blonde curls from the occasion and was also seen holding onto a cigarette.

Kate gave the film her seal of approval back in 2022 and has since been involved with the development.

She said of the plan: "Sitting for Lucian was an honour and incredible experience. After watching The Phone Call, I knew that James [Lucas] would convey the emotion in the storytelling in a fitting way, one this memoir deserves.

"Having been involved in the project and script development from the beginning, I am now very excited to see the film come to life."
