Kay Burley shares first look of new home as she takes break from Sky News
Kay Burley joined Sky News back in 1988 and has been a popular face on the network for over 35 years - but she's not been seen recently.
As she takes a break from presenting on Sky News, presenter Kay Burley has given her fans a glimpse into her new brand new home on social media.
The 63-year-old usually presents the show alongside Gareth Barlow and Mhari Aurora but has been replaced by Wilfred Frost and Leah Boleto in her absence.
Kay has taken some time off from work to prioritise her big move to the country as she showed off the stunning abode with her 50.5 thousand followers on Instagram.
The broadcaster posted a picture of one of the rooms in her new Victorian-style home which boasts high ceilings and a minimal finish.
In the snap, beautiful brown flooring can be seen along with leather seats, a glass chandelier, as well as lamps and wooden shelves. She wrote over it, "new home," as the light beamed through a huge floor to ceiling arched window.

Taking to social media, she shared a shocking snap to her Instagram fans which confirmed she had an allergic reaction.
In the picture, Kay's face could be seen looking very swollen and red, leaving her followers worried about her.
In the caption she wrote: “When allergies prevent you from being on the TV. "Sorry to have missed you all today."

Kay joined Sky News back in 1988. She has been a popular face on the network for over 35 years.
She's been candid about her health in the last few years as she revealed in 2021 that going through the menopause is "tricky" to handle while working on TV and claimed hot flushes leave her "looking like she's walked through the shower".
The Wigan-born star said she has requested the temperature in the studio where she presents her breakfast show is permanently set to low.
