The Bill's PC Reg Hollis star looks unrecognisable 16 years after leaving ITV crime drama
Actor Jeff Stewart was one of the longest-serving cast members on ITV's The Bill before leaving the crime drama in 2008.

For over two decades, Jeff Stewart played the slightly odd-ball PC Reg Hollis in the ITV police drama. Fans of The Bill will remember the actor’s clean-shaven look with his slicked-back hair.
However, Jeff looks slightly different to how viewers may remember him. On Wednesday afternoon the 68-year-old looked almost unrecognisable as he ran some errands around London.
Seen sporting a long grey beard with sunglasses on, the actor wore a chequered coat over a bright yellow T-shirt. Jeff completed the look with grey jogging bottoms and white trainers while holding a brightly coloured umbrella.
Although Jeff didn't star in the police drama from the very beginning when it started in 1983, he appeared in a total of 872 episodes. However, he was written out of the programme in 2008, after 24 years in the role.
Speaking about getting axed in 2011, he told The Sun: “I felt I had been badly let down." The decision by bosses to let him go deeply affected Jeff as he attempted to take his own life in his dressing room.
