Cat Deeley divides opinion as This Morning star makes major change after Holly Willoughby
Cat Deeley's debut on This Morning has divided opinion - and now her look, which is the polar opposite of former host Holly Willoughby's, has been adored by some, whilst leaving others begging her to "sack the stylist".
Cat Deeley stepped into Holly Willoughby's shoes for the second time yesterday, as she took over following her predecessor's 14-year stint on This Morning. Her sense of style is drastically different to Holly's, who often opted for shapely pencil skirts, patent stiletto heels and floral dresses, while Cat today shook things up with a more smart-casual guise.
She wore a black and white striped jumper with gold buttons, which looked as if it could have come out of a Chanel catalogue. The star paired the look with skinny jeans and a pair of knee-high boots.
Cat, who has recently finished her presenting role on So You Think You Can Dance?, has now made the return from LA back to London. Accompanied by husband Patrick Kielty and their two children, Cat seems to have settled in well - but her look today, very different from what This Morning viewers are typically accustomed to seeing, has divided opinion.
Over on Twitter, one impressed fan wrote: "I'm really enjoying this new duo and love Cat's outfit, definitely a combo we can all relate to. #ThisMorning." Another echoed: "I’m liking Ben and Cat's more relaxed look... They seem good together. I wasn’t sure but proved wrong #thismorning."
A third chimed in: "Caught a little bit of Cat and Ben hosting #thismorning and what a breath of fresh air they are." However, one fan exclaimed: "Sack Cat's stylist after today’s efforts!"

Someone said they believed the clothing on the show was fit only to line bins, while another quipped: "When do the new presenters arrive who are supposedly going to save the show?"
Other gripes have included Cat "constantly talking over people".
"The show is called This Morning. NOT the Ben Shephard Show or the Cat Deeley Show. STOP talking over each other and stop interrupting the guests," one commenter argued.

Despite criticism from some corners, Cat is shaping up to be the firm favourite for many viewers - and the feelings are clearly mutual as she has gushed about how much she has looked forward to her return to London and new role.
"We are so excited to be here, this show has been a part of our lives for so long," she told ITV fans.
Meanwhile, the likes of Ant and Dec have sent an affectionate tribute to their former SMTV co-star.
"A little bit of advice for Ben about Cat because we worked with Cat and she might be all sweetness and light but that girl can party! Don't think she can't," quipped Ant playfully, while Dec advised: "Keep a lock on the drinks cabinet."
