Speeding Piers Morgan is fined £666
BRITAIN’S Got Talent judge Piers Morgan has been fined £666 for speeding.
The 45-year-old was caught racing through back roads at 51mph in a 30mph zone in Brighton last November after judging a talent contest at a nearby private girls’ school.
He was convicted at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday – after pleading guilty by post – and also had six points added to his driving licence.

Morgan said in a statement yesterday: “I was judging a charity show at Roedean School called Roedean’s Got Talent.
“Unfortunately, my driving skills afterwards wouldn’t have got me past the first round.”
The speeding offence happened less than 20 miles from Newick, the East Sussex village where Morgan grew up and where he still has close links.
