Little Boots' Coachella slot marred by volcano disaster
LITTLE BOOTS' planned performance at the Coachella music festival has been hit with a string of problems - her crew and costumes are stranded in England because of the volcanic eruption in Iceland.
The 25-year-old British singer, real name Victoria Hesketh, is scheduled to appear at the California music event on Sunday (18Apr10).
But she's been left without her technicians and her on-stage outfits, as a heavy cloud of volcanic ash floating above Europe continues to disrupt air travel.
In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Made it to LA through the volcanic ash! Jet lag hitting hard at post-flight pre-Coachella rehearsal.
"Ooooooh s**t all our crews' flights are cancelled. Any designers in LA wanna lend me a dress for Coachella? Mine's stuck in England aaaargh!!"
