EAMONN HOLMES has reacted to a tweet criticising ITV's Good Morning Britain's viewing figures just days after his debut on GB News.

Eamonn Holmes, 62, has shared a tweet in which a viewer blasted ITV’s Good Morning Britain’s viewing figures. It comes after the broadcaster left ITV last year to join GB News this week with his new programme, Breakfast with Eamonn & Isabel.
Eamonn retweeted a post from a viewer, who had replied to a tweet from political journalist Andrew Pierce, who said he had been talking about GMB with the programme’s host, Susanna Reid.
Andrew wrote: “Talking @gmb with @susannareid100 @Kevin_Maguire about Prince Andrew whose court case went very badly last night in US.”
Viewer johnand68038424 replied: “About as badly as #GMB viewing figures now you best jump ship Andrew go over to @EamonnHolmes new morning show on #GBNews.”
Eamonn simply quote-tweeted the reply, adding four smiley emojis and a thumbs up.
His tweet gathered 94 likes and eight retweets.
Fans of the former This Morning star seemed to agree that his new venture has been a success.

The TV star took to Twitter on Monday to thank viewers for the support after his first day in the new role.
In view of his one million followers, he penned: “Folks , thank you for getting behind me for the new Breakfast show.
“A lot of people are working hard to give you a show where your views are a big part of the news.
“I hope you stay with us from 6.30 - 9.30 as we begin simulcasting on both TV and DAB Radio.”
“Making History,” Eamonn concluded his tweet, alongside a thumbs up and a smiley emoji.
Eamonn later retweeted a link to a review of his show and wrote: “I hope this is enough to make a lot of you give us a chance.
“See u in the Morning ?” (sic)
