Rylan Clark-Neal has opened up about his health struggles following a difficult separation that saw his weight plummet to just 9st 13lb. The TV personality embarked on a diet and exercise plan which helped him regain over four stone.

"I got ill and I lost weight, I went down to under ten stone - and I'm six feet four inches, so that's not good," he confessed to The Sun.

"The honest truth is that it's been s**t.

"I didn't deal with what happened and now I am.

"I felt unwell and it was a very difficult time for me."

Throughout this challenging period, Rylan found solace in the support of his family, particularly his mother Linda, who he described as a "lifesaver". He admitted that one of his biggest regrets was causing worry for his loved ones due to his health issues.
